Role:

CVT Botton Village Community, Danby near Whitby, provides supported living, learning and working opportunities for adults with a learning disability. We provide varied living and work opportunities including our own farms, working garden, bakery, weaving and other craft based workshops. We are in an exciting phase of developing our services and we need people to work with us who share our enthusiasm and commitment to provide quality support for adults with a learning disability. We are recruiting to enable people to live lives which are socially connected and full of meaning and purpose. You must be confident and have enthusiasm, and be able to follow support plans and support people in achieving their personal goals. It is desirable that you show some knowledge and understanding of intentional communities.

Due to location own transport is advisable as the nearest Train station is at Danby 3 miles 
away.

Support Workers: NVQ Level 2/3 Health and Social Care or equivalent.  £7.25 per hour 
dependent on qualification and experience also a sleep-over allowance is payable. Variable hours up to full time and casual working; worked flexibly including weekends and evenings and sleep-overs as part of a rota system.

All posts require you to have an Enhanced DBS disclosure, proof of qualifications & 2 
references.
